We use 3 types of “base” icings. All of these can be flavored any of the flavors on the following “filling flavors” list, and/or whole pieces of fresh fruit added.
The first, and most popular, is our Italian Meringue Buttercream. It is so light that people often mistake it for whipped cream!
Next is our Vegan Icing. This is a little sweeter and thicker, some people prefer it. I compare it taste-wise to whoopie pie filling.
Last is our Cream Cheese Icing. Trust me, this is the most delicious Cream Cheese Icing you will ever try. Of course carrot cake goes well with it, but try some other combinations – lemon cake with cream cheese icing and fresh raspberries is a favorite of ours!
- Almost all cake flavors are also available Gluten free or Vegan
- Optional Extras may be added to a filling (i.e. vanilla buttercream with fresh blueberries), spread on each cake layer (like preserves or a lemon curd) or some may be used as a filling themselves in one or more layers (any flavor of ganache is great for this)
